The CashBack Island Risk Monitoring Center, based on the latest market data, has identified that in February 2026 alone, as many as 52 illegal trading platforms have been exposed as “scam trading platforms”. These fraudsters not only lack any valid regulatory licenses, but also use deceptive “identity substitution” tactics to falsely claim regulation by authoritative institutions such as the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC), thereby fabricating credibility and gaining investors’ trust.

We strongly remind all investors: when choosing a trading platform, do not rely solely on logos or promotional claims on websites to trust their “regulatory status”. Be sure to log in to the official websites of relevant regulatory authorities to verify information one by one. Stay away from “unlicensed operations” and clone companies, protect your funds, and do not become the “first wave of victims” targeted by scam trading platforms at the start of the year.

• Verifying regulation is the first step: Do not trust regulatory logos displayed on a website’s homepage. Please directly visit the official websites of FCA, CySEC, ASIC, and others, and enter the company name or registration number for verification.
• Be cautious of high-return temptations: Scam trading platforms often use “high rebates” and “guaranteed principal with high returns” as bait. Once funds are deposited, investors often face risks such as withdrawal failure, account freezing, or even the platform disappearing.
• Check domain information: Many scam trading platforms have recently registered domain names, and their servers are located in offshore havens with low transparency.
• Reject private redirection: Legitimate platforms do not privately invite users through social media to join groups or provide trading signals. Any request to transfer funds to a personal account or a non-corporate account should be regarded as fraud.
